After seeing a shot of her on one of the blogs I follow, alltheprettybirds.com, I have developed a serious fashion crush. Ulyana is a Russian designer/stylist and her collection, which I have just discovered, is amazing, very 1940s, with long full skirts, booties, fur, coats, cinched-in waist defining silhouettes, beautiful colours and patterns; everything in her collection would flatter any figure and bring glamour to any lifestyle. Sergeenko wears her own collection best, the demure style suits her down to the ground and she was spotted at fashion week in Paris looking the epitome of elegance and grace. I think my next purchase will be something inspired by Sergeenko’s collection, a full skirt or a winter coat. Sergeenko’s pieces are very modest and enhance the shape of the female figure while covering most of the body, something that I think is very elegant, as they, less is more.
